Hot guys skip the fries.

Tuesday night I met up with Ryan for the third annual West Coast Puntabulous Get Together! We met in La Jolla (where the rich people and Ryan live) at Five Guys. Enrico suggested I try Five Guys french fries once upon a comment (more on that in an upcoming post), so I was excited to see what they had to offer.

They had these fancy soda dispensers. I felt like I was in Japan.
*I chose grape Fanta

Here is my healthy, nutritious dinner.

I had the Adam special – lots of pickles. Yum!

Man, they don’t skimp on fries.

Ryan did not order fries, which is why he looks like this. Hubba Hubba! Because he is a
gentleman and did not want me to feel like the pig I am, he ate a couple of my fries.
* right after I took this photo Ryan ripped off his shirt and did 50 pull-ups.

The world’s population hit 7 billion. Most of that is comprised of Ryan’s family.
Did you know he has 70 cousins?

We talked until the wee hours of the morning, then Ryan put his shirt back on
and we said our goodbyes. The end.

      1. It’s funny how thing change with generations. My mom has about 41 fiirst cousins, I have 7, and my daughter has 0, unless you count 2 step-cousins on her Dad’s side.

      1. I know a few of my second cousins, but for the most part they are filed as too distant of relatives to worry about. Keeping track of my cousins’ spouses and children is hard enough.

  1. I still haven’t eaten at Five Guys, even though I only hear good things about them. Seeing you guys eating outside made me take a double look, but I remember you were in Southern California, not South Central PA where it’s been COLD!

I have 6 1st cousins, but countless 2nd, 3rd, and 4th cousins….twice and thrice removed and all that stuff. (grandfather was oldest of 7, his wife was second oldest of 6, so that explains that)

I think whatever the next C&Rrrry contest is, Ryan should participate while doing shirtless pullups. That’d surely get more votes than everyone else…even Michelle M.!

  2. Holy Crap! Cupcake you look awesome! The guy over your right shoulder clearly thinks the same.

I have 36 first cousins. I have no clue how many second cousins, but it has to be close to 50. My family is the biggest and we continue to expand. One of my nieces is due any second now and another is due in April.

  3. Am I the only one who is fascinated by that FREAKING AWESOME soda machine?! Five Guys in NYC don’t have them. Do they use a single spigot? Does your drink taste a little like whatever the last person got?

    1. Oddly enough, considering we don’t have Five Guys in Canada, I have eaten there. It was in a mall somewhere. Can’t remember where or details so it obviously didn’t blow me away.

  4. I have 6 (living) first cousins (three have died), including 2 adopted first cousins.

The Wegman’s where I sometimes go for lunch has one of those Coke machines. I had lime coke the other day. And then I tried cherry vanilla. My co-worker recommends raspberry caffeine-free diet coke.
